The Bruce Museum announces its major fall/winter exhibition "Paris Portraits: Artists, Friends, and Lovers," a fascinating glimpse into the world of the Parisian avant-garde revealed through paintings, sculpture, and works on paper. On view are works by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Max Ernst, Constantin Brancusi, Marcel Duchamp, Max Beckmann, and many others. Celebrities they portray include Jean Cocteau, Josephine Baker, Gertrude Stein, and Kiki de Montparnasse. Museum hours are: Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 and $7.
