Chef Matt Stein serves up a "just off
the griddle" pancake at Silvermine Tavern Sunday
Brunch. Pancakes are made to order at the
Tavern's famous award winning buffet brunch. Choose
your own filling from blueberries, strawberries,
bananas, chocolate chips and pecans. Genuine New
England maple syrup, powdered sugar and whipped butter
are the help yourself toppings. Of course,
there are still over 30 delicious dishes on the New
England Style breakfast brunch buffet. |

When the Sterns want to get into the holiday spirit they
head to an old-fashioned country inn, and one of their
favorites, the Silvermine Tavern, isn't far from their
Connecticut home. The place is famous for its Sunday
brunch and the little honey buns Michael loves. It's a
classic New England country inn loaded with charm,
creaky floors, glowing fireplaces and views of a
beautiful pond. It's decorated to the hilt for the
holidays and the Christmas Eve buffet is grand.
