Tellabration! is a worldwide benefit evening of storytelling. It creates a network of storytelling enthusiasts bonded together in spirit at the same time and on the same weekend.
Tellabration! originator J. G. Pinkerton envisioned this international event as a means of building community support for storytelling. In 1988 the event was launched by the Connecticut Storytelling Center in six locations across the state. A great success, Tellabration! extended to several other states the following year, and then, in 1990, expanded nationwide under the umbrella of the National Storytelling Network (then called NAPPS, and later the National Storytelling Association).

James Caroll on Bass, Justin Kerr on Drums, Jeff Kujan on Guitar/Vocals, and Takeshi Sergel on Keyboards and Vocals, make up the band known as EKL. Formed in 2003 by high school friends, EKL is a jam band with a difference. Their unconventional songs and improvisation-based sound is influenced by a wide variety of styles and bands; think Medeski, Martin, Wood, the Talking Heads and Beck. Most importantly EKL's shows are high-energy and their sound is infectious - dancing strongly encouraged.

Vienna Teng shares her name with the Austrian home of Mozart and Beethoven and she has studied classical piano from the age of five. But there's nothing old-world about the music of Teng, whose debut brings to mind artists as diverse as Tori Amos, Simon & Garfunkel and Radiohead.
Not so long ago, being a singer-songwriter was merely a hobby for Vienna Teng, a Stanford computer science grad who was on the fast track to a lucrative career, working as a software engineer in Silicon Valley. She gave all that up to pursue her musical passions - a risky career move, but one which has paid off. The 27-year-old has already released two critically acclaimed independent albums: 2002's Waking Hour and 2004's Warm Strangers, which landed on three Billboard album charts and reached #2 on Amazon's best-seller list. Tang has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and toured widely, opening for such artists as Shawn Colvin, Joan Osborne, Patty Griffin, Joan Baez and the Indigo Girls.
