Musical Theatre Camps

The Studio Camp

 

‘Grease’ June 23-28 (grades 9-12)

 

Willy Wonka The Musical’ July 7-12 (grades 3-8)

 

‘Disney Camps’ July 21-25 (grades 1-3).

 

All performance camps will focus on stage presence, vocal technique and projection, movement, and acting skills that will build self-confidence. Enrollment is limited.

 

College Workshop Intensive

 

 Potential Guest Instructors include Craig Carnelia (composer/lyricist Is There Life After High School), Tom Burke (speech pathologist and renowned voice instructor), Rob Meffe (Broadway Musical Director), Bob Cline (Casting director), and Jen Waldman (actor/acting instructor). Students ages 18-22 will participate in 5 daily workshops focusing on the emotional core of song text; the physiology and application of the voice to singing and voice over work, audition technique, and the new acting technique, Viewpoints.

 

Dance Camps

 

These beginner, intermediate, and advanced camps, (grades 3-12), will explore and refine dance disciplines used in Theatre Dance which include tap, jazz and ballet.

 

 
Performance Camp for Boys

 

This camp for boys only (grades 4-12) focuses on the commercial industry today. Students will be divided into age specific groups to work on Hip Hop dancing, Pop, Rock, alternative, funk, R&B, and musical theatre singing technique. They will also have the opportunity to explore on camera commercial and film acting.
