The Performing Arts Center of Connecticut focuses on dance, acting, singing, music instrumentation and theater production. Everyone at PACC is dedicated to excellence! Their summer dance intensives and dance classes range from age 3 to adult. All are welcome from the serious student to those studying for their own enjoyment.

Performing Arts Center of Connecticut's Dance Intensives

Everyone at PACC is dedicated to excellence! All are welcome from the serious student to those who just wish to study for their own enjoyment. The goal of the center is to bring to the community all the positive and inspiring aspects of the performing arts. Their highly-trained faculty are professionals in their respective fields; and bring to each student a level of instruction which focuses on method and technique found in New York City studios. Their hope is to provide students, whether beginner or pre-professional, child or adult, with a state of the art facility, where each person is encouraged to experiment, grow and enjoy their chosen art form within an atmosphere of mutual respect. Their resident dance company, In MotionPACC, has performed at many community and professional performances. Auditions for it are June 2nd.

Schedules are: Summer Dance Intensive, ages 12-19: Three one week sessions (take one, two or all three), Intermediate and Advanced level classes, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Tap, Stretch & Strength, Dance Comp. Mini-Summer Dance Intensive, ages 9-12: Three one week sessions (take one, two or all three), Ballet, Jazz and Tap. Itsy Bitsy Ballerinas, ages 3-6: Three one week programs (take one, two or all three) dance, arts and crafts, snack time and more. Summer Dance Classes, ages 6 - adult: Six week session, July 9th thru August 16th. Classes in Ballet, Pointe, Partnering, Variations, Men's Class, Stretch & Strength, Tap, Flamenco, Hip Hop and Musical Theater Jazz. Registration has already begun and class size is limited.
