Comedian Norm MacDonald
Set to Get Ridiculous at The Ridgefield Playhouse
Comedian Norm MacDonald is known for his scornful mockery that is as hilarious as his casual delivery— each made him a star of Saturday Night Live, anchoring the show’s anticipated "Weekend Update" segment. There is no telling what this funny man will say (his humor is not vanilla, it is more like rum raisin) as he takes the stage at The Ridgefield Playhouse for Movies and the Performing Arts on Saturday, February 3 at 8 p.m., but what is sure is that the audience will be rolling in the aisles. His appearance is part of the Bruce Bennett Nissan Comedy Series.
An award-winning standup comic for two decades, Norm MacDonald was part of Saturday Night Live for a memorable five years. In addition to starring in two sitcoms, "The Norm Show" and "A Minute with Stan Hooper," he has starred in movies as well, including "Billy Madison," "Dirty Work," "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" and was the voice of Lucky in all three "Dr. Doolittle" movies.
