On November 22nd, catch the UBS Parade Spectacular, Stamford's annual holiday balloon parade presented by Stamford Town Center, featuring 24 giant helium balloons floating through Stamford Downtown. This year, expect to see Bob the Builder, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Curious George, Elmo, Miss Piggy, Mr. Potato Head, Odie, Oscar the Grouch and Kermit flying high. In addition, award-winning marching bands from all over Connecticut and New York perform. Step off is at noon. And don't miss SAC Capital's Balloon Inflation Party on Saturday, November 21st from 3-6 PM on Hoyt Street at Summer. Get a backstage look at the balloons as they come to life. Music, parade talent and cartoon characters are also on hand to delight spectators.
