CT Appalachian Trail Day with Hikes, Paddling and a BBQ |

The approximately 52 miles of the 2,175 mile Appalachian Trail running through Connecticut is maintained and managed by the Connecticut Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club. "AT Day" celebrates the trail with 11 hikes of varying length and difficulty, a river clean up, a flat-water paddle on the Housatonic River and rock climbing, all followed by a 3:30 PM "Grand BBQ" at Macedonia Brook State Park, Kent.
