It’s time for the Junior Women’s Club of Fairfield’s fourth annual Touch-a-Truck fundraiser, scheduled for Sunday, September 16 (Raindate: September 23) from Noon to 4 p.m. at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. At this family-friendly event, kids of all ages can hop into the driver’s seat of more than two dozen vehicles, refuel on popcorn, cotton candy, tacos, Italian ice and baked goodies, then make a pit-stop for any number of activities, including face painting, bounce houses, go-karts, a roaming railroad, music, a fun bus and a even a safari show.

Touch-a-Truck proceeds, which totaled over $12,000 last year, will benefit the club’s scholarship fund for exceptional young women from local Fairfield high schools.
