See the science of electronics invention brought to life at the Discovery Museum's Consumer Technology Fair, September 24 & 25. It's a fast-paced preview of the latest consumer tech breakthroughs from some of the world's largest consumer technology companies. Be the first in your neighborhood to see products like Nikon's P1 wireles camera, XM MyFi's first portable, pocket-sized satellite radio receiver, Panasonic's breakthrough plasma television, plus the latest from Apple, Casio, HP, Canon, Bose and others. If music is your thing, then be sure to check out out the Acura TL with the Panasonic DVD-Audio 5.1 surround system. Five-time Grammy Award winner and music producer Elliot Scheiner will be on hand from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday the 24th to discuss his role in the design of this amazing car audio system. In addition to exhibits, the weekend will feature seminars and demos by tech columnist & author David Pogue, plus a Video Game Center courtesy of EB Games, where you can try out the latest, hottest video games on the market.
New York Times consumer tech columnist & "Missing Manual" publisher, David Pogue, will be teaming up with with representatives of some of the world's top consumer technology companies to create a weekend full of interesting workshops, eye-catching exhibits and exciting demonstrations that even a technophobe can appreciate. The festivities will kick off with a Preview Party on Friday evening, September 23 followed by two days of non-stop tech talk featuring the latest products from Apple, Canon, Panasonic and Sony.

This very special fund raising evening will kick off the two day show with sumptuous delights to nibble on, an open bar for the most discerning of tastes and enough fun electronic equipment to keep you mesmerized for hours. To top it all off the Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be David Pogue, Emmy winner, author, and consumer technology columnist for the New York Times. Two more full days of fiddling with fun electronics! There will be on-site electronics demonstrations, learning centers for kids and teachers, as well as free seminars run by David Pogue, a foremost technology expert, who will offer hands-on help with your hi-tech dilemmas.
