Earthplace Summer Camp

An Adventure for the Mind and Body

Earthplace CampCome explore the great outdoors! Active learners will enjoy our hands-on approach to nature study at age-appropriate levels. Guided by senior naturalists and educators, boys and girls from preschool through 9th grade learn about a range of environmental and scientific topics in the classrooms, in the Natureplace natural science museum, on the 62-acre Earthplace wildlife sanctuary, and through field trips for older children.

3’s, 4’s and Kindergartners

From June 21 - August 13 the youngest campers enjoy one-week sessions in which they learn about different kinds of plants, animals, insects, sea life habitats and weather. Trail walks, crafts, activities, field games, songs and books incorporate theme-related lessons for children who will be entering 3-year-old, 4-year-old and Kindergarten programs in the fall.

Grades 1-9

Elementary and middle school children expand their horizons through exploration of the Earthplace sanctuary and field trips. In one-week sessions from June 26 - August 13, all age groups study topics in various scientific disciplines such as biology, ecology, geology and technology. Selected sessions include canoeing and on-site camping. From July 26 - July 30, Grades 5-9 will enjoy a weeklong exploration of Cape Cod.
