Early Childhood Classes

Caregiver participation required for all Early Childhood Classes


Let’s Pretend
- Ages 3 – 5

Fairytales come to life as children become familiar with classic stories and act them out. Hands-on activities include creating costumes and set and practicing puppetry.

Stepping into Senses - Ages 6 months – 2 1/2 years

Inspire the senses! Help your children explore multi-sensory activities as they build language and social skills. Each session includes music, movement, stories and hands-on activities.

ArtSmarts - Ages 2 – 4

Young Picassos will develop their own creative voices through many mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, printing and collage.

Music Makers
- Ages 3 – 5  

Let Stepping Stones be your muse! Children learn about rhythm, sound and movement using our galleries as their inspiration. Each week will have a different musical focus.

By Kids for Kids™ Brainstorm Challenge

Children entering grades 1 - 5

A fun, educational program that encourages children to problem solve and invent using a variety of common
materials. Attend one class or all eight. Every day there will be a new mind-bending activity!

Pre-register or drop-in

Summer Days Camp

Bruises, Odors, Digestion and You (BODY)
Why do your feet smell after being inside your sneakers all day? Ever wonder what makes your stomach growl? Get to know your body inside and out by experimenting with stethoscopes, microscopes and other tools while going on an in-depth exploration of our exhibit, Healthyville.
