Crystal Theatre Summer Camps |
For their 20th Anniversary summer season, Crystal Theatre Is holding 4 exciting camps!
Their first 3-week session culminates In 2 evening performances of the award-winning musical, The Snow Queen, (7/17 & 7/18) based on the Hans Christian Anderson story about friendship, loyalty and the "power of one pure heart". (weekdays, 10-3:30 PM) this exciting show has plenty of parts for all! (5-10th grades)

They follow this with a one-week cabaret camp ("Broadway Hits", 9-3:30 PM) with shows on July 26 & 27. Students in grades 4-10 perform in groups and as soloists in this big Broadway revue. Both camps are directed by Crystal Theatre artistic director Cheryl Kemeny and a staff of talented professionals and college students.
Arts In the Parks, Sessions 1 (7/28-8/8) & 2 (8/11-8/22) take place at beautiful Cranbury Park on the Norwalk/Wilton line. (Weekdays, 10-3 PM-last 2 days spent at theater In Norwalk) Sing and dance in a mansion! Paint under the trees in a beautiful park! Classes Include watercolors, scene study, dance, musical theatre - all culminating In final shows at the theater on the last evening.
Students are grouped 1-3rd grades & 4-8th grades.
